Shipping & Dispatch

We know you’re keen to get your gear, and we’ll get your order moving as quickly as we can. Our target dispatch timeframe is 3–10 business days once your order has been processed.

Many of our products are ordered or built specifically for each order. Once stock arrives from the manufacturer or supplier, we’ll get it packed and dispatched, normally within 1–2 business days.
AJF FAB products are generally kept in stock and ready to go. If an item needs to be fabricated, we’ll get it into the workshop schedule as soon as possible. Fabrication can take around 1–2 weeks, depending on current workshop demand.
We’re constantly checking supplier availability and updating stock information as it becomes available. “In Stock” means the item is available in NZ, available from an overseas supplier, or expected to be available for dispatch within 10 working days, based on the best information we have at the time.
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation and tracking details as soon as your order is on its way, where tracking is available.

We’ll always do our best to keep things moving and keep you updated along the way.

Some products are shipped directly from our suppliers. While we work hard to keep our stock levels accurate, there are times when items sell out faster than expected or our suppliers run out before our website can update. In these cases, your order may be placed on backorder, which can vary with each supplier.

Stock Availability

In Stock means the product is currently available in New Zealand, available from an overseas supplier, or is expected to be available for dispatch within 10 working days, based on the best information available to us at the time of purchase.

We regularly update stock availability as new information becomes available from our suppliers. However, stock levels and supplier availability can change quickly, and there may occasionally be a delay between a change in availability and our website being updated.

If there is any significant change to availability or expected dispatch time after your order is placed, we will contact you with an update.

These delays are outside of our control, and while we always do our best to keep customers informed, we strongly recommend contacting us before placing an order if you need an item urgently or by a specific date and we'll be happy to confirm availability for you

If you call and we are unable to answer, please leave a message, as we are often busy in the workshop or assisting other customers. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Our team will always do everything we can to keep you updated and get your order to you as quickly as possible.

Please note that we do not offer refunds for change of mind.

Returns and Refund Policy

Special Order

Any product purchased using the “Special Order” button will either be ordered specifically to fulfil your order or may be supplied as a special-order or pre-order item from one of our suppliers.

Please note that our standard shipping timeframes may not apply to Special Order items. We recommend contacting us to confirm current availability and estimated lead times before placing your order to avoid disappointment.

ATI Items - Items manufactured by ATI (All Terrain Industries) are "Special Order" and are a expected 10-12 working day lead time. On occasion, any particular size may be out of stock with the manufacturer. If item(s) are required urgently, we strongly recommend getting in contact with us prior to purchasing to avoid disappointment or unexpected wait times.

By purchasing a Special Order item, you acknowledge that additional supplier lead times may apply.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

The product must be defective or supplied incorrectly, and not be able to be remedied within a reasonable timeframe.
Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Fitted items cannot be returned
It must be in the original packaging.
You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us at accounts@ajf4x4.co.nz within 3 days of receiving your order.

Once your return request is approved:

We will provide you with a return authorization number and instructions on how to send your item back.
A return shipping label will be sent to you.
Returns must be sent to:

Important: Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Restocking/Cancellation Fee

A 30% restocking/cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund for all items/orders that have already been processed, and all orders that are cancelled by the customer.

Pricing & Order Cancellation

1. Pricing and Errors:

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are subject to change without notice. While we strive to ensure all pricing on our website is accurate, errors may occasionally occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible.

2. Right to Cancel:

We reserve the right to cancel any order and provide a full refund if a product has been listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a genuine error, including but not limited to typographical errors or price increases from our suppliers.

3. Acceptance of Order:

Your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our final acceptance of your order. A legally binding contract is only formed once we have processed your payment and dispatched the goods to you. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline it for any reason. If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will immediately issue a full refund to your original payment method.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

A refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7–14 business days, minus the 30% restocking/cancellation fee.
Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Should an item be unavailable for dispatch from either AJF Rotorua Ltd or one of our suppliers, AJF 4x4 reserves the right to refund the purchase amount without notice to the purchaser.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Items cannot be returned, exchanged, credited or refunded after 5 working days from delivery.
