Toyota 1KD-FTV EGR Delete Kit
This EGR delete kit deletes the factory EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) system which will stop the exhaust gasses recirculating back into the intake manifold and causing carbon build up in the intake manifold, which can block up the intake manifold causing a restriction of airflow to the engine causing power loss.
What’s included:
- Exhaust manifold blanking plate
- Intake manifold blanking plate
- Stainless steel attachment bolts
- Hose joiner
The Intake Blanking plate is made from 8mm aircraft grade 5083 Aluminium, the exhaust blanking plate is made from high quality 6mm 304 Stainless Steel
Simply remove the EGR cooler from the RH side of the engine and clean up the gasket surfaces. We recommend using new gaskets to prevent any leaks (Gaskets are not included in this kit). Fit new gaskets with the EGR block off plates provided in the kit with the new hardware also provided in the kit. Then fit the hose joiner in the coolant lines the used to go the EGR Cooler with the provided hose clamps.
An ECU remap is REQUIRED when using this kit. Ask about us providing your remap.
