Problems with the Ford Ranger Diesel Particulate Filter are well documented. The Ranger runs an active DPF system that traps harmful diesel particulates in a honey comb structure, and then burns them off as the DPF flow is reduced. In the Ranger, often the soot left behind after the burn cycle can build up and cause a permanent blockage and failure
Signs your DPF is failing include reduced engine performance, higher fuel consumption along with more frequent burn cycles.

Specifically designed for the Ford Ranger Ute: PX2 & PX3 3.2L Turbo Diesel (October 2016-onwards), this 3" stainless system unleashes the performance and sound that they should have had from the factory!
In October 2016, Ford added a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to the Ranger. These are prone to failure and significantly restrict performance.
DPF DELETE SPECIFICATIONS:
- 304-grade 1.5mm thick polished stainless steel piping.
- Stainless steel flanges
- Straight through design for maximum efficiency
- Stainless 2 bolt connecting flange for bolt-on installation to factory or aftermarket DPF-back systems
- Dual hanger mount for additional durability
- TIG welded
- Mandrel Bent
- Gaskets and bolts included
These are a proven design producing fantastic sound and performance upgrades on the Ford Ranger Ute PX2 3.2L (October 2016 onwards).
